Our Tai Chi Practice
Sharing
our tai chi practice
Our conscious practice is a living tradition by direct transmission. By sharing
our practice we enable others to enter into this stream of living knowledge,
passed down from person to person.
Tai Chi Posture (form study)
With form we study the energy of ourselves. Where we hold our gravity and
tension and our state of mind. Leading to our ability to be aware and alert
to the energy of others.
Tai chi partner work (harmony of movement between ourselves and others)
Awareness of energy of ourselves and others, working together, joining
energetically, listening energetically. This area of partner work is really
a fun practice as well as a very deep practice. Becoming aware of how we hold
energy in relation to another and ourselves is an endlessly revealing process.
Tai
chi in everyday life (discovering your own centre and creating the ability
to stand in it)
As in practice so it is in every day life. We are pressed physically and mentally.
In practice we learn to listen to energy in ourselves and others. This is directly
transferable to our lives. Sometimes we stand rooted, sometimes we yield, in
both we remain centred. With this understanding we bring flexibility to our
interactions with others, and our understanding of ourselves.
